I've been bubbling away in the background with my Draconians, expanding the retinue... however as over the several attempts over the years to get a good colour for the ones I'd started, I figured I strip them all down... a month and a bit in the dettol and the paint has fallen away lovely... unfortunately so has the greenstuff on the conversion I did for the Draconian prince...
2008 that was... not the end of the world really, as I can redo the robes to better fit the new theme, but I really do need to pull my finger out... especially after having listened to Paper Cuts...

You don't hear a lot about Paper Cuts, seeing as it's the 'quiet' story in the trilogy but I love it! Platt did such a great job expanding the Draconian culture that I'd dearly enjoy seeing something in that scope in the new series. And we may need it, seeing as the Moffat Era has aleady seen one scaly persona handy with a sword...
But really, giant orbital tomb ships and human-sized origami assassins. How cool?
Speaking of the Big Finish version of Old Sixie, any thoughts on painting the BT figure in the blue colour scheme?
More Doctor Who minis! Your DW stuff is how I found this blog and I'm hoping you'll post some more of these soon. Sorry to hear your hard sculpting work was undone, but I guess we now know that Dettol and greenstuff don't mix, so none of your readers will make the same mistake... I don't know about brake fluid (my paint stripper of choice), but I hear that acetone will also attack cured epoxy.
Origami assassins? How weird, and eminently Doctor Who-ish. This is one of the audio-only stories right? It's a pity, life sized paper creatures would have been fun on-screen.
first thing I need to do is order the Omega Prime bases from Dragon Forge... looking to theme each race with a base that suits them, rather than all being on dirt/gravel... the Ice Warriors were going to get snow anyway, so the others might as well get something and it will help with my plan for the Draconians as well...
