I've change a bit from the Ainsty model/original design (which has three sensors in a triangular pattern) - I want to do some identifiers on the front panel, so filled that in with g/s - need to work on those decals at some point... another divergence is the area below the antenna... I did toy with paint in the white balls (or could have done some conversion work to add them in), but decided to inject even the slightest bit of colour in there so tried for a pale blue glow to suggest a power source within...

so, pending decals and deciding on the base, done for now...

Those are nice, even if they look like they should be on top of a Star Destroyer ;) And shiny silver is overrated, not to mention hard to pull off decently with acrylic paints. After all, actual shiny metal is WAY more reflective than even the cleanest paint job with metallics.
Those would make kick-ass incognito christmas tree decorations.
Or maybe my wife's christmas decorations all over the house are getting to me.
Either way thats nice work Mr Giraffe!
"Super Shiney" can be achieved a couple of ways. Using a Chrome or bright silver based paint for your final high-light is a cool way to do it. Therese a Vallejo Air-Colour silver that's VERY bright, or get a can of chrome spray (which is useless as chrome, but great for this) and spray some into a pot and use for your final touches. I also favour Mother of Pearl (I still have an old Partha Paint pot) but you have to be VERY sparing with it or things just start looking white. UPON SAYING THAT, your Mechanoids look great anyway!
